Used Bag Inserters

The bag inserter is designed to automatically open and insert a plastic bag into an empty RSC, Tab lock, RSC, HSC, FOL, or Bliss style case.
Flat or gusseted bags from presealed and perforated roll stock are fed to an opening station. A vacuum plenum secures the bag and the carriage opens the bag above the waiting case.
An indexing mechanism controls the boxes position and permits a mandrel to enter the bag and travel to the bottom of the container.
Simultaneously, the cuffing mechanism cuffs the bag over the top edge of the case. As the mandrel is retracting, the carriage closes to allow the vacuum plenums to secure the next bag, maximizing vacuum establish time. When the mandrel is retracted, the case is released to transfer out of the loading station.
Bag inserters and inserting equipment features guarantee smooth and precise bag placement and handling.
The bag uncuffer operates on a production line in conjunction with a bag inserter. After liquids or solids filling the uncuffer raises the film off of the edge of the case to be sealed. Uncuffers can be supplied to seal the internal bag in a number of ways prior to discharging into a case sealer.

Used Case Erector/Used Bag Inserters
Bag inserting case erectors are designed to erect the case from a pre-scored corrugated case blank, to seal the bottom of the case using either tape or glue, and to insert a bag into the case. These machines serve both functions by erecting and placing a bag using a single machine.
A scenario where film bags are inserted into a case for filling, is often referred to as a bag-in-box application.
