HOW IT WORKS
Snap Capping Machines are available in three configurations. These are: inline snap cappers, rotary indexing snap cappers, and rotary snap cappers (continuous motion). These snap cappers are designed to use pressure in order to apply a snap cap onto a container. Depending on the type of system, down pressure belts or multiple heads in the case of both rotary systems are used to place and press a snap cap onto the neck finish of a container. Many times snap caps are placed, and a standard cap is torqued onto external threads (spice containers, other flow restrictions).
COMMERCIAL APPLICATION
Snap Cappers are available using various configurations dependent upon speed requirements as well as snap cap/container configurations. Snap capping machines are commonly used in the food, dairy, and cosmetic industries.

Cap Feeders
Bulk Cap Elevator and Cap Blower
Why it is Used with Capping Machinery
Bulk Cap Elevator
Bulk Cap Elevators are used to automatically maintain the amount of caps in a cap sorter allowing for optimal sorter operation while eliminating the need for operators to load caps and maintain reasonable quantities of caps.
Usually, the operation of the elevator is integrated to the capper using a variety of cap level sensors.
Cap Blower
Cap Blowers use filtered air to blow caps to a cap sorter utilizing tubing that guides the caps to the cap sorter.
Cap Blowers can be advantageous because they can feed caps at a high rate, and can be placed further away from the sorter itself.
