Linear Disc Bottle Unscrambler
BPDM stocks a wide variety of new & used Linear Disc Bottle Unscrambling equipment customized for specific applications and requirements in all industries.
HOW IT WORKS
Linear Disc Bottle Unscramblers are unscrambling machines that utilize the feature known as the "Bowl." The Bowl is used to help sort the bottles to move to a number of belts (discharge, acceleration, stand-up) in the laying-down position. Linear discs within the bowl are cut so that if a bottle is not laying down neck leading or neck trailing, it stays in the bowl until it is in the right position. When the container is in either the neck trailing, or neck leading position, it will continue to move to the conveyor belt where a hook or loop is waiting to give the final adjustment to put the container in the neck trailing position. It does this by being spring loaded and set in position to grab the neck of the bottle (if it is neck leading). Linear Disc Bottle Unscramblers only allow containers to move down the line if they are in the neck trailing position.
COMMERICAL APPLICATION
Linear Disc Bottle Unscramblers are commonly used in the bottling industry for their use of ordering the containers before they go into the capping, filling, rinsing, and labeling stages. Containers that are used with the Linear Disc Bottle Unscrambler are mostly from the beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The containers include plastic bottles, jars, pill bottles, and different shaped containers. The Linear Disc Unscrambler has production speeds from 20 units/min up to 60 units/min, depending on the model or modifications used.

Why it is Used with Unscramblers?
Linear Disc Bottle Unscramblers may sometimes have a Bulk Feeder Elevator that is attached to it to allow the unscrambler bowl to be fed automatically instead of manually.
A flighted belt is used to take containers from a hopper to be fed into the Linear Disc Bottle Unscrambler from a desired height.
Elevator operation is started and stopped by a switch that will monitor the fill level of the container feeder hopper(bowl).
