HOW IT WORKS
To operate a Semi-Automatic Capper, the operator must pre-start the cap on the bottle and then use the machine to finish the application of the cap. Utilizing the semi-automatic capping machine the operator may apply a cap with repeatable torque, and is much easier on laborers. The operator manually places a cap on top of a bottle that allows the capper to do the rest of the work. These machines come in a wide variety of configurations and speeds are operator dependent.
Semi-Automatic Cappers replace application torquing by hand. Application by hand is labor intensive and generally results in large variations of torque. These machines are popular in low volume/start-up operations where an automatic capper is not warranted.
