HOW IT WORKS

Finished cases are presented to Used Low-Level Case Palletizers at a conveyor height equal or close to the conveyors upstream of the palletizer. Cases are arranged on a transfer plate arranging them in a predetermined format which configures case layers. Each time a layer is completed the transfer plate elevates to a position even with the proceeding layer of cases. Once the plate is at the proper height, layers are transferred in position on top of the previous layer. A slip sheet is normally inserted between each layer. Each layer of cases alternate formats (every other layer), so that they interlock the multiple layers in order to generate a stable finished pallet. After all layers are placed to complete a pallet, it is discharged using pallet conveyor normally to the infeed of an automatic pallet wrapper.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATION

Used Low-Level Case Palletizers are an alternative to their high level counterparts, and are normally designed for low to mid speed operation. Used Low-Level Case Palletizers normally have a smaller footprint, and alleviate the need to elevate cases prior to infeed. These also eliminate the need for expansive platforms. The cost of Used Low-Level Case Palletizers is generally lower than that of a Used High-Level Case Palletizer.
