HOW IT WORKS

Used Warming Tunnels are used to reheat containers or cans after carbonated filling processes which rely on low product temperature. Used Warming tunnels use spray bars or dribble pans with constantly heated water that comes in contact with the containers or cans. This is necessary for downstream processes such as labelling and handling of bottles down the production line. Used Warming Tunnels bring the container temperature close to ambient in order for the rest of the line to function properly after cold filling processes.

Used Warming Tunnels provide solutions for heating cold filled products. The cold containers run through a stainless-steel tunnel which is fitted with a series of nozzles that spray warm / hot water onto the product, normally in progressive zones. A Used Warming Tunnel normally has a large blower at discharge to dry the containers as they exit mass flow.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATION

Used Warming Tunnels primarily use water for the primary heating source, which is recirculated within each zone of the Warming Tunnel. The warming medium is normally heated via a steam heat exchanger or exchangers to maintain proper temperature along with zoning features.
